Applications and Grade-Selection Guidance
C-276 and C-22 have different chemistries and resistance patterns; material suitability depends on actual process media. Representative applications include valve stems, acid-processing fittings, pump parts and severe-corrosion equipment. Product purchasing should identify the alloy family or exact UNS designation and the conditions of service. Grade substitutions require engineering approval; a similar grade name does not demonstrate equivalent performance.
