Saw Cutting for Cut-to-Length Bar Stock

Mozaic Precision Metals provides custom saw cutting for steel bars and precision ground round stock. We cut material to specified lengths for machining blanks, production runs, and further processing.

Saw cutting is available for customer-supplied material and bar supply orders. Combine cutting with centerless grinding, straightening, polishing, and chamfering to prepare your material for its next operation.

Send us your material grade and condition, bar dimensions, required cut length, length tolerance, and quantity. Our team will review your requirements and provide pricing and lead time.

Specify the required length and tolerance for each cut piece. If the ends will be faced or machined afterward, include sufficient allowance in your requested cut length.

Saw-cut ends may require additional finishing where the application calls for tighter length tolerances, a specific surface finish, or defined end squareness. Include these requirements with your drawing or inquiry so we can review them before quoting.

For multiple cut lengths, provide the quantity needed for each size. Let us know whether any remaining material should be returned with your order.

Cutting & Bar-End Preparation

Combine saw cutting with chamfering to remove sharp edges and prepare bar ends for handling, feeding, or assembly. Specify whether one or both ends need chamfering and include any required chamfer dimensions.

For precision ground material, include surface protection and packaging requirements so finished diameters can be handled appropriately during processing and shipment.
