We supply round bar stock in a range of grades and conditions, from commonly used steels to specialty alloys. Specify the material standard and heat treatment condition required by your drawing or purchase order.

Precision ground bars are processed to control outside diameter and surface finish. Diameter tolerance, roundness, straightness, and surface roughness are separate requirements and should each be specified where applicable.

Our grinding offerings cover diameters from 0.062″ to 8″ and lengths from 3′ to 40′. Tolerances as tight as 0.0001″ and surface finishes down to 8 RMS are available for suitable applications. Available capabilities depend on material, dimensions, and job requirements.

Precision ground round bars are used for shafts, pins, bushings, rollers, and other cylindrical components. Controlled bar dimensions and surface finish help manufacturers prepare material for their specific machining and assembly requirements.
